Alan Gardner, CEO at RxResults
Alan is currently the CEO at RxResults.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Mathematical Sciences with a concentration in computer science. He then earned an MBA at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Gardner has spent his entire career working in healthcare sectors. He has held IT and operational positions at academic health system providers such as UNC-Chapel Hill, Cleveland Clinic, UAMS; and at healthcare IT service companies – NMHC, Remettra, and RxResults.
On a national level, Alan has held memberships and served in leadership positions at standards development organizations and associations such as the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI), Accredited Standards Committee X12, and Association for Electronic Health Care Transactions. At NCPDP, he has served on their Board of Trustees and on their Foundation’s Board of Directors. He received NCPDP’s two highest member awards – The Individual Member Excellence Award and the Benjamin D. Ward Distinguished Member Award. He also received a distinguished member award from WEDI. He has also spent over two decades in volunteer leadership with the Boy Scouts of America in a Little Rock Pack, Troop and district.
