Dr. Bristow has worked at University of Arkansas since 1999 and been on the
faculty since 2002. She has taught undergraduate and graduate classes and
mentors honors students, does academic advising, and performs numerous
activities that nurture the learning and development of students. She is an Associate Director for Information Systems Graduate Programs in the Information Systems Department. She also
serves as the advisor for three student organizations: AIS student chapter, Phi
Mu Fraternity, and Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.

Dr. Bristow has received honors at the campus level from the Associated Student
Government and was a finalist for the nominated for the Dr. John and Mrs. Lois
Imhoff Award for Outstanding Teaching and Student Mentorship in 2018. She
was inducted into the Teaching Academy at the University of Arkansas in 2014
and was honored by the Walton College with the Teaching Award in 2014 and
2018.

Dr. Bristow received her BSBA in General Business in 1996; BSBA in Information
Systems in 1999; her MBA in 2003; and her Ed.D. Human Resource and
Workforce Development in 2013: all from the University of Arkansas. She serves
on advisory boards at the Rogers New Tech High School, Springdale High
School, and Har-Ber High School. She has also led efforts to organize the Girls
In IT event, led the Help a Hog campaign for eighteen years, and been an
advisor for Student Leaders Impacting Communities from 2014 to 2017, and for
Enactus (formerly Students In Free Enterprise) from 2004 to 2014.
