Dr. Greg Holland, Senior Data Scientist and Director at the Arkansas
Research Center
For more than a decade, Greg Holland has worked at the Arkansas Research Center (ARC) at the University of Central Arkansas, providing multi-agency data integration and research for the State of Arkansas. He is the principal architect of the Arkansas 2009 Statewide Longitudinal Data System, combining state data from pre-school through the workforce for analysis and reporting. Since 2016, Greg has served as the Director of ARC. Prior to his work at ARC, he spent ten years at Acxiom Corporation, serving in data administrator, data developer, and team leader positions for data source acquisitions.
Holland received his BS in Computer Sciences, his MS in Information Quality, and his Ph.D. in Applied Science Information Quality all at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). He is the author of numerous publications on Arkansas data research and analysis and was an affiliate graduate faculty member of Information Science Dept at UALR. He also served on the authorship team for the Information Quality Certified Professional exam.
