Terry Talley is a retired computer scientist. He was born in Little Rock. Terry began his technical career at IBM as a programmer on the Space Shuttle project at Johnson Space Center.
He worked for several IBM divisions at a variety of locations before returning to Arkansas in 1995 to work for Acxiom Corporation, where he was lucky enough to meet his future wife and fellow AAOC member, Michelle Talley. Terry has served as Chief Technology Officer at Acxiom, Chief Architect for Southwest Power Pool, and Principal Architect at Kinesso.

Terry earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Terry was inducted into the Arkansas Academy of Computing in 2010.
